[Text to Anakin]
Hello! I saw from young Clarence's post that you, too, received a bit of post.
Mine happened to be a Deed of Trust dated 1942 and appears to be curiously related to the Manhattan Project. It was signed by a Leslie R. Grove.
Given your line of work, do you happen to know anything further?
I am aware the general history, that project developed the atomic bomb, and a quick search of the Internet says Lt. Gen. Grove headed up the project and the construction of the Pentagon.
But I was hoping you may have additional information or may be able to point me in a direction of interest?

>> i'm impressed you know so much about the manhattan project.
>> and that you can use the internet>> but its only called the manhattan project cuz thats where it started
>> then it moved
>> where it 'officially' started is just like, three blocks away from the bureau address
no subject
>> But I hardly think that's a lot to know. Wasn't the whole point of it the development of the bomb? What else did they do?
>> And Grove's name was easy enough to search.
>> Though I admit I had forgotten the name was masculine and expected a different result.
>> No, I actually didn't expect a result at all, least of all such a prominent person.
>>
RUDE>> It started here? I thought they dropped bombs on islands or the desert?
>> Do you know anything about this "interdimensional" what-have-you the Bureau's name references and its relation to nuclear activity?
>> I feel like science fiction makes a great deal of buzz about particles, but I'm not sure what is fiction or otherwise.
no subject
>> thats why its called the 'manhattan project'
>> named after the manhattan engineer's district.
>> when atomic chain reactions was established as possible, US military took over the research for weapons purposes.
>> after military took it over, hq moved to dc, testing moved to new mexico, manufacturing moved to tennessee and washington.
>> and then testing on pacific islands during cold war
>> almost all site connected to manhattan project are superfund sites now
>> bureau address is not listed as a superfund site.
>> classic physics prove 4 dimensions
>> anymore than that is only theoretical
>> no provable unifying theory of everything currently exists
>> in researchable scientific circles
>> who knows what the bureau is doing?
no subject
>> Superfund is environmental protection/decontamination? [Someone very much had to google.]
>> Thank you, Anakin. This has been very enlightening and has given me a few directions in which to research.
>> Very much appreciated.
>> I just hope no one does anything terribly rash with this new development.
>> Monday I had an odd visit from our dear friend Mr. Martin and I'm concerned this is resulting from that encounter. There may be more at play in this than simply Us and the Bureau.
no subject
>> maybe the bureau not being on the superfund list is a good thing
>> or they're just hiding a pit of radioactive material in the middle of manhattan
>> mr martin said hello to me, too
>> what did you talk about?
no subject
>> Do you suppose WE may be radioactive?
>> Should we perhaps get one of those devices that detect that kind of thing?
>> They chirp. It's very distinct. Oh, I forget what they're called.
>> He tried to ask me about anti-Bureau sentiment.
>> Was it the same for you?
no subject
>> i think we'd notice that
>> ya he spoke to me too
>> did he talk to anyone else
>> i think i annoyed him
no subject
>> Yes, I suppose we would.
>> I think he must have visited you first, then. He seemed annoyed enough before we even began.
>> And I'm not really sure. I confess it's been a busy week.
>> I haven't really taken the time to find out.
no subject
>> might be worth trying to find out
>> cuz why would he talk to us?
>> have you ever visited the bureau building?
no subject
>> No. I know someone has sent them an email, but that was some time ago.
>> And it was nothing that should have raised their hackles.
>> Perhaps it had to do with the network. [He's thinking of Bitterblue.]
>> As far as I can tell, no one has hardly accomplished anything outright yet
>> And most of the suspicion expressed has been, I think, quite to be expected given the circumstance.
>> Mr. Martin's intervention has only generated more distrust.
>> So there must have been something specific that prompted him. I just don't know what.
no subject
>> whats going on on the network
>> you don't think its cuz we're trying to organize our own group meetings, do you?
no subject
>> Very PR: sufficiently replied to, but giving away little to nothing.
>> Someone considered making it safer.
>> It may be. I'm not really sure. It seems they've approached more than just our group, however.
no subject
>> what was the answer
>> how will they make it safer
>> who all did they approach
no subject
>> - claims that all the Bureau's records about the Different are reliable since they became aware of our existence
>> - that they don't know the "exact mechanism" that caused the Different vs others who had "experienced [unexplained] recollections"
>> - and then that it's been 1 year since this began, per the Network which began as a response
>> Something technological I'm afraid I don't fully understand
>> well, young Clarence and Miss Lisa, at least mentioned being approached by who I assume to be Mr. Martin
no subject
>> or the bureau not being able to erase people's memories after?
>> we should all meet up or something
>> compare notes
no subject
>> Yes, we probably should. I'm sorry I've been rather busy lately and unable to better discuss.
>> It has been a complicated month.
>> My schedule may be unusual, but I'll see what I can do.
no subject
>> has this been going on much longer than a year but bureau has been able to erase the memories of anyone affected
>> just let me know when you are free, i'll be free
